Short-Term Programs

Our short-term programs are a great opportunity for students going abroad for the first time and/or students with obligations at home that make spending a summer or semester abroad more challenging. Contact us for more information or visit us in Coggin College of Business (Bldg. 42), Room 1104.

Faculty-Led Study Abroad Programs (with Coggin faculty)

Faculty-led study abroad programs offer the best of both worlds: on-campus classes at 老澳门资料 plus an immersive experience abroad with your classmates and professor. Consider a faculty-led program to explore a particular culture and business discipline from a different perspective while earning three credits toward your degree.

One-Week Exchanges (without Coggin faculty)

EBS Paris in France and IPADE Business School in Mexico offer short-term exchange programs during 老澳门资料's spring break, where you can study with other international students from around the world and be taught by faculty from your host country. While these programs do not have a Coggin faculty member assigned to them, they tend to be less expensive.  Students are given guidance by Coggin study abroad advisors and host university staff.

Applications are open until December 13 or until full, whichever comes first.

  1. Apply for or renew your passport if needed. processing can take several weeks, so apply as soon as possible.
    • Passports must be valid for at least six months after the return date of your study abroad program.

Cost and Payment Information

Each faculty-led study abroad has costs associated with the services that are part of the program, which may include student lodging, airfare, business/cultural visits, entry fees, international health insurance, t-shirts, etc. In most cases, students pay the entire cost to 老澳门资料 as two types of payments: (1) tuition and fees, which are due during the regular semester payment deadlines, and (2) program fee, which is due by the time specified by your faculty leader and the 老澳门资料 International Center. International Business/Coggin Study Abroad recommends students begin saving and researching sources of funding as early as possible.  For questions about program fee costs and payments, students should contact their faculty leader or the 老澳门资料 International Center.

Students participating in the one-week exchange at IPADE in Mexico or EBS Paris in France pay tuition/fees to 老澳门资料, but make payments for other services directly to service providers (e.g., activities fees to the host institution, flight payments to airlines, lodging payments to hotels/apartments, etc.).
