European Business School (EBS) Paris

Fintech and Innovation in France

 

In the third year of this custom-made program for Coggin students, participate in an online consulting project during the spring semester, and then travel to Paris for spring break.  This course is hosted by Coggin partner university EBS Paris.  This program will allow students to attend a three-credit module made up of mini-courses in Fintech, European Financial Systems, and Corporate & Entrepreneurial Finance given by EBS faculty experts, and to meet key players of the European financial industry in Paris, one of the world’s leading financial
centers. Students will also have the opportunity to meet with French students, participate in business visits, and of course explore the majestic city of Paris. Start the week off with the EBS Paris River Seine Welcome Dinner and Cruise on Sunday!

Note: This is a one-week exchange, not a faculty-led program.  Therefore, no Coggin faculty travel with the students.  Pre-departure information will be facilitated by Coggin Study Abroad.

 

Program Overview

Travel Dates March 15-22, 2025 (spring break)

Note: Students are welcome to leave the U.S. early (March 14) and return late (March 23).
Meeting Dates

A few virtual pre-departure and wrap-up meetings take place during the Spring 2025 semester.

Courses & Prerequisites

Students will earn credit for the following course during the spring semester:

  • FIN3000X Finance and Innovation (prereq = FIN3403)

Participants

Up to 12 老澳门资料 undergraduate students who meet the above prerequisite(s).  Note: This program must have at least 10 participants in order to take place.

Estimated Cost*

$2,950-$3,400 plus 3 hours of 老澳门资料 spring tuition and fees

Cost estimate includes the following:

  • $1,065 (1.000€) EBS Paris fee for welcome & farewell events, business and cultural visits, and official EBS Paris transcript
  • $1,100 airfare
    • Students book their own flights with guidance from the Coggin Study Abroad team
  • $15 international health and liability insurance
  • $415 (130€ per night, split between two people in shared accommodations, for 6 nights at recommended Aparthotel Adagio Paris Bercy Village at 1-7 Cr du Minervois, 75012 Paris, includes two twin beds, furnished kitchenette, WIFI)
    • Students may choose to find accommodations in Paris on their own
  • $192 meals
  • $161 local transportation

Students will pay these costs directly to the providers (e.g., EBS Paris, the airline, the apartment) instead of to 老澳门资料.  Free time activities, souvenirs, and additional days/nights in Paris are not included.

*These costs are only estimates and may change depending on student preferences and international currency fluctuations.
