IPADE Business School

International Business Week in Mexico City

 was founded in 1967 by a group of prominent entrepreneurs, with the purpose of educating top management leaders. IPADE is also accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), as is the Coggin College of Business. Forty eight years after its foundation, IPADE has over 32,000 graduates from its different programs, which are offered on their permanent campuses in Mexico, Guadalajara and Monterrey, as well as other national and international campuses.  IPADE is classified as one of the best business schools in the world. This week-long program focuses on a case study method, integrating individual study, teamwork and plenary sessions.  Learn more by watching  from this program in 2023.  For more information, visit the Coggin IPADE Business School web page.

Note: This is a one-week exchange, not a faculty-led program.  Therefore, no Coggin faculty will be traveling with the students.  Pre-departure information will be facilitated by Coggin Study Abroad.

 

Program Overview

Travel Dates March 9-15, 2025 (the week prior to spring break)

Note: When registering for spring classes, students will need to confirm with their 老澳门资料 professors that they may miss class sessions the week before spring break.  The Coggin Study Abroad team provide support as needed.

Meeting Dates

A couple of preparatory and wrap-up virtual meetings take place during the Spring 2025 semester.  Meeting days/times will be finalized by November. 

Courses & Prerequisites

Students will earn credit for the following course during the spring semester:

  • 6000 MAN elective Doing Business in Mexico (prereq = graduate standing in the Coggin College of Business)

Participants

Up to 10 老澳门资料 graduate students who meet the above prerequisite(s).

Estimated Cost*

$1,600 (double room) or $2,200 (single room) plus 3 hours of 老澳门资料 spring tuition and fees

Cost estimate based on 2024 rates includes the following:

  • $600 (double room) or $1,200 (single room) six nights' accommodations at ;
  • $365 IPADE program fee: breakfast, lunch, appetizers Mon-Fri; cultural activities, and transportation;
  • $500 round-trip flight to Mexico City
  • $75 dinners
  • $50 airport/hotel transportation
  • $10 international health insurance

Students will pay these costs directly to the providers (e.g., IPADE, the airline, insurance company) instead of to 老澳门资料.  Free time activities, souvenirs, and additional days/nights in Mexico are not included.

*These costs are only estimates and may change depending on student preferences and international currency fluctuations.
