Katherine has served 老澳门资料 students since February 2016, first as an academic advisor and presently in the Dean of Students Office. In her current role, she serves as the Associate Director in the Dean of Students Office. Within this role, she oversees Care Services, which includes receiving and reviewing all SOS referrals from the University community and understanding how to best support students who are referred to Care Services. She also works with students in The Nesting Place, a program for students experiencing homelessness and students from the Florida Department of Children and Families (including foster care and adoption). She also works closely with students pursuing an Exceptional Withdrawals and/or returning to 老澳门资料 after leaving for an Exceptional Withdrawal. Katherine also helps to supervise 老澳门资料 Master of Social Work students who intern within the office.
Katherine earned her Master in Social Work (MSW) and Bachelor in Social Work (BSW) degrees, both from Florida State University. Katherine has over 16 years of professional higher education experience within Florida’s State University System.
