The 老澳门资料's interpreting programs are committed to upholding the standards formulated by the . 老澳门资料's program is highly interactive, professors are continuously engaged in student learning, and the curriculum remains in alignment with national interpreter education standards. The BS and MS programs are developed in accordance with current spoken and signed language research and target interpreters who aspire to become nationally certified, improve their skills in specialized settings, and/or develop skills as interpreter educators. Deaf interpreters are encouraged to apply to all programs.
The ASL/English Interpreting program faculty members have undergone certification training for teaching online and bring a vast array of expertise in facilitating interpreting skill acquisition with a combination of online and face-to-face methodologies. Each course's content is carefully evaluated to determine the most effective way of delivering it to students, using online and blended delivery methods. Courses use a variety of the latest technology to maximize skill and knowledge acquisition, allowing students to interact synchronously and asynchronously with the instructor, classmates, and course content. At a minimum, students who are admitted to this program should have regular access to high-speed internet and a desktop or laptop computer that is equipped with Microsoft Office and a web camera.
