Waivers
Students may qualify for one of Student Financial Services' many military, veteran or dependent-specific waivers. Available waivers include:
- Active Duty Military Surviving Dependents/Spouses
- Congressman C.W. "Bill" Young Veteran and VA Educational Assistance Out-of-State Tuition Waiver Program
- Deceased Active Duty
- Purple Heart Recipients
- Transcript Waiver for Active Duty, Veterans, Their Spouses and Dependents
Residency Exemptions
Students may qualify for a residency exemption if they are:
- Active duty or National Guard residing or stationed in Florida
- Military personnel not stationed in Florida whose home of record is Florida
- Spouses or dependents of active duty service members

The Military and Veterans Resource Center offers several student scholarships annually to assist Ospreys with fulfilling their academic pursuits. Scholarships are available for veterans, military dependents and military spouses, so potential applicants are encouraged to complete their to be paired with the appropriate opportunities.
