How-To Instructions

  • What can I expect from the ITS Help Desk?

We're friendly, polite, and knowledgeable people who manage emails and walk-ins from students, faculty, and staff, offering assistance with classroom technology, audio/visual services, network connectivity, software applications, operating systems, university-owned computer hardware and peripherals, password resets, and setting up network clients.

The Help Desk also supports C-Techs and Engineers involved in strategic partnerships across the university, advising on business and technical needs to establish new business solutions and services.

  • Who handles my service request?

If you are a student, then requests submitted through our Support Portal are routed directly to our Help Desk, which you may also access in person by visiting the first floor of the Thomas G. Carpenter Library in Building 12.

Faculty and Staff who submit requests through our Support Portal will be routed directly to their assigned C-Tech who can assist you according to the needs of your department or division.

  • Are there any free or discounted apps for students?

Students at 老澳门资料 have access to Microsoft Office Suite on up to 5 devices, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote among other web apps.

You may also log into VLAB Pro to access a virtual desktop complete with the same software you have access to on standard Library machines.

Additionally, 老澳门资料 provides students with access to a number of that run on both Windows and Mac computers. Try searching "KIVUTO" within myWings to see what's available to you. Below is an example of software available to students.
