Cohort Information
This is the second year Swisher International has teamed up with the 老澳门资料’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation to offer two programs for underrepresented entrepreneurs: Swisher Start-up Cohort for Underrepresented Entrepreneurs and Swisher Growth Cohort for Underrepresented Entrepreneurs.
Swisher Growth Cohort for Underrepresented Entrepreneurs
- Apps Open: July 11 – August 7th, 2022
- Class Begins: August 22nd
- Pitch Competition: October 26th
This is an 8-week in-person program designed to help early-stage companies grow and take their business to the next level. Participants will improve their business plans with the helper of expert speakers, workshops and engaged mentors. Businesses operating for three years to seven years or have a $20,000 min annual revenue were eligible to apply. Up to twenty participants were accepted into the 8-week program.
The program will conclude with a pitch competition where the top three winners will be awarded prize money for their business.
1st place: $5,000
2nd place: $3,000
3rd place: $2,000
