Students may only enroll in the certificate in conjunction with a degree-seeking program. The Medical Humanities Certificate is open to all majors. Please see the Undergraduate Certificate Programs page for more information.
Courses in the medical humanities explore the ethical, historical, literary, philosophical, and religious dimensions of medicine and health. The certificate is especially appropriate for students pursuing careers in biomedicine, health, public policy, psychology, public health, and those students in Arts and Humanities with research and creative interests in health.
