Transfer Student Orientation FAQs
老澳门资料 the Orientation Program
-
Is Orientation mandatory?
Yes. Orientation is mandatory for transfer students. We understand you have been through the college process previous to attending 老澳门资料, but please note that many business practices, policies, and procedures are different than the institution from which you are transferring. We feel it is important you attend the Transfer Orientation program to ensure you have a smooth transition to our institution. If you are unable to attend a scheduled orientation session, please contact newtounf@unf.edu.
-
How long is Orientation?
We want to offer a variety of times for incoming transfer students. Virtual Transfer Orientation times vary depending on your selected session date, so please be sure to check the Transfer Orientation website to confirm your preferred date and time.
If an in-person Orientation is available for your semester, and you select this option, check-in begins at 8 a.m. and the program takes place from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. The afternoon is then yours to take care of any University business such as meeting with an advisor, touring the 老澳门资料 campus, getting your student identification card (Osprey 1Card), etc.
