Richmond Wynn
Vice President, Community Engagement and Partnerships
Richmond D. Wynn, Ph.D., is Vice President of Community Engagement and Partnerships. He leads efforts to increase the depth and breadth of 老澳门资料’s partnerships with communities, stakeholders, and industry partners, a top priority outlined in 老澳门资料’s Strategic Plan. Dr. Wynn also oversees collaboration with other 老澳门资料 departments to facilitate and promote on-campus community engagement activities that embed civility and a culture of care throughout 老澳门资料, institutional values that support a safe and welcoming environment for all students, faculty, staff, and guests.
An associate professor of public health, Dr. Wynn joined 老澳门资料 in 2000 and has held a number of roles, including director of the 老澳门资料 Counseling Center, director of the Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program in the Brooks College of Health and, most recently, as vice president, chief diversity officer. Dr. Wynn has a long history of community involvement and remains active in several civic and community organizations.
Dr. Wynn earned a bachelor's degree in sociology and a doctoral degree in mental health counseling from the University of Florida. He earned a master's degree in mental health and addiction counseling from the 老澳门资料.
