Organizations are valuable when pursuing in-depth knowledge of the field or major you have chosen. The School of Computing encourages you to find the organization that you find the most inspiring. Organization memberships are always open to all students and offer a unique avenue to associate with professionals in the field, have experiences, conduct research, and participate in workshop opportunities and professional development you would be challenged to have access to otherwise.
AIRO
The Artificial Intelligence Research Organization club contains a group of student members working on exciting research and development projects utilizing state-of-the-art methods and tools in artificial intelligence, such as machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing.
OCP
The Osprey Competitive Programmers (OCP) club is meant to engage students interested in advanced computational thinking and computer programming, particularly in the competitive programming space. The members of this club participate in various regional, national, and international competitive programming competitions. Besides programming competitions, the members meet regularly to discuss different coding problems requiring a deep understanding of algorithms and data structures. The club welcomes all interested students, irrespective of their coding experience.
OSEC
The Osprey Security Club at 老澳门资料 is a community of IT students focused on developing its members to their full potential as future professionals. UPE
Computing Sciences affect almost every aspect of contemporary life. Thus, it is the express purpose of Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE) to promote the Computing Sciences and to encourage its contribution to the enhancement of knowledge and life. UPE strives to reach its goal by recognizing academic excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the Computing Sciences. UPE is an honor society. Membership is by invitation only, which is based on academic achievement.

In case you are unfamiliar, blockchain technology is an innovative technology that has combined things like game theory, cryptography, and distributed networking in a way that has allowed us to invent incorruptible ledger systems. These distributed ledgers have revolutionary implications for legacy monetary systems, the nature of digital property rights, and the future of the way data is stored and transmitted on the internet. It is a field that has experienced and will continue to experience an exponential rate of growth that competes with and, in some cases, will surpass the rate of growth experienced by technologies such as gene sequencing, robotics, and artificial intelligence.

ACI
The American Concrete Institute (ACI) students club provides learning and networking opportunities to enhance students’ professional development. ACI student members can access electronic versions of ACI's monthly magazine on concrete design and construction, Structural Journal, and Materials Journal.
ASCE
American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) as a Society () gears at the general health and welfare of the public, working everywhere from governmental relations to K-12 outreach projects. We, as a whole, strive to give a better understanding to the general public about all sides of Civil Engineering, as well as maintain and improve the current state of the US infrastructure.
In our Student Chapter, you will have the opportunity to partake in Student Conferences all over the Southeast, putting to use your classroom knowledge as well as pushing you to dig deeper. We host socials with our professional "parent" chapter, allowing for networking and professional development. In ASCE, we are a community.

The primary benefit of being part of ASHE 老澳门资料 is the opportunity to grow technically and professionally. ASHE provides a forum to interact with one’s peers in the transportation industry while working together to help solve common problems and discuss pertinent issues.

Coasts, Oceans, Ports and Rivers Institute serves its membership and society by uniting the disciplines working to sustainable develop, protect and restore coasts, oceans, ports, waterways, rivers, and wetlands; integrating the key stakeholders into decision-making processes; advancing technological state of the art and practice; and influencing public policy.

Electric Vehicle Osprey (EVO)
Electric Vehicle Osprey (EVO) is a 老澳门资料 RSO whose goal is to convert a gas-powered vehicle to a fully operating electric vehicle. EVO is an opportunity for any student at 老澳门资料 interested in electrical applications to bring to life what is learned in EE classrooms. Creating an electric car will increase students' problem-solving skills while reinforcing the material they have learned in classes such as Physics II and Circuits Analysis. Taking the concepts and electrical procedures learned in the classroom and applying them to a technical situation will allow students to further their education and careers. EVO is determined to make better students and even better engineers!

The IEEE Engineering in Medicine & Biology Society is dedicated to the benefit of its members and all of humanity, with our efforts focused on five driving objectives.

A vast swathe of disciplines are interred within the field, and as such, the club is a great way to experience interdisciplinary coordination.
Osprey Racing
Every year, 老澳门资料 SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) competes with about 120 other teams internationally at the Michigan International Speedway in both dynamic and static events with a student-built F1-style race car. This competition tests the ability of the student-designed car as well as the team's ability to present the design to a group of judges. The purpose of this club is to encourage student-driven learning through competition in all facets of business, design, manufacturing, and testing. We accept all majors, whether you've raced your whole life or just want to learn about the industry. Come check us out!

ABC
The 老澳门资料 Association of Builders and Contractors, Student Chapter, will increase student knowledge of the construction industry, promote fellowship and professionalism, and provide service to the Construction Management Department, the 老澳门资料, and the community. As a member of an ABC student chapter, students will learn the importance of the merit shop philosophy and free enterprise through active association involvement. Involvement in the student chapter provides interaction with ABC National and chapter staff, member contractors, faculty and staff, and students with similar interests and career goals.
NAHB
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Student Chapter program enriches students’ educational experiences. It offers first-hand exposure to the real world of the building industry, educational programming, and networking opportunities. 老澳门资料 NAHB Student Chapter works with local home builders to enrich students. It also runs the NAHB Student Competition, a real-world construction management and planning contest for students. The competition is a highlight of the International Builders’ Show.

The 老澳门资料 Sigma Lambda Chi chapter is the national honor society for the Construction Management program. The fundamental purpose of Sigma Lambda Chi is to provide recognition to outstanding students in construction curricula. Sigma Lambda Chi allows students to be recognized locally and internationally for their academic accomplishments as a Construction Management major. The club has three objectives: to render service to the Construction Management program, to develop good relations among campus, industry, and the public, and to recognize outstanding professional individuals in construction.
