Camp Preparation

Note: Each camp will have specific requirements on what to bring. Please double check with your camp to ensure your camper has all of the appropriate items necessary.

Helpful Tips:

  1. Know when camp begins.
  2. Ensure that you are aware of pick-up/ drop-off times and location.
  3. Don't wait until last minute to prepare.
  4. Encourage your campers independence.
  5. Communicate with your camper daily.
  6. Choose a camp that will maintain your child's interest.
  7. Try not to worry!

Day Camp- What to bring:

  1. Lunch
  2. Water Bottle
  3. Snacks
  4. Sunscreen (Always apply before camp also.)
  5. Change of clothes
  6. Swim Suit & Towel
  7. Sunglasses
  8. Hat
  9. Jacket
  10. A good attitude and a smile! 

Overnight Camp- What to bring:

  1. Linens (pillow, blankets, sheets etc.)
  2. Clothing for the duration of camp. (Include extra of things like socks and underwear.)
  3. Swim suit
  4. Towels & Washcloth
  5. Jacket
  6. Toothbrush & toothpaste 
  7. Hair Brush & Hair Accessories
  8. Shampoo and Conditioner
  9. Body Wash 
  10. Deodorant 
  11. Sanitary Hygiene Pads 
  12. Sunscreen
  13. Water Bottle 
  14. A good attitude and a smile!
