Camp Preparation
Note: Each camp will have specific requirements on what to bring. Please double check with your camp to ensure your camper has all of the appropriate items necessary.
Helpful Tips:
- Know when camp begins.
- Ensure that you are aware of pick-up/ drop-off times and location.
- Don't wait until last minute to prepare.
- Encourage your campers independence.
- Communicate with your camper daily.
- Choose a camp that will maintain your child's interest.
- Try not to worry!
Day Camp- What to bring:
- Lunch
- Water Bottle
- Snacks
- Sunscreen (Always apply before camp also.)
- Change of clothes
- Swim Suit & Towel
- Sunglasses
- Hat
- Jacket
- A good attitude and a smile!
Overnight Camp- What to bring:
- Linens (pillow, blankets, sheets etc.)
- Clothing for the duration of camp. (Include extra of things like socks and underwear.)
- Swim suit
- Towels & Washcloth
- Jacket
- Toothbrush & toothpaste
- Hair Brush & Hair Accessories
- Shampoo and Conditioner
- Body Wash
- Deodorant
- Sanitary Hygiene Pads
- Sunscreen
- Water Bottle
- A good attitude and a smile!
