Joseph H. Williams Endowed Scholarship

Donor Criteria

  • meet admission requirements and be accepted into the 老澳门资料
  • reside in Duval, Clay, St Johns or Nassau counties
  • be a Florida residence for tuition purposes
  • be enrolled as a junior or senior in the School of Nursing (i.e., BSN, Post Bac and/or Accelerated programs)
  • earn a minimum 老澳门资料 GPA of at least 3.0
  • student cannot be a OneBlood, Inc. employee or employee’s dependent
  • demonstrate compassion for others and interest and support of OneBlood, Inc. volunteer blood donor programs through any of the following:
    • organized two or more OneBlood, Inc. drives conducted on different dates; and/or
    • volunteered at OneBlood, Inc. for 20 or more hours; and/or
    • given blood successfully to OneBlood, Inc. on any two different dates, if eligible for blood donation 
  • be selected by a committee chosen by the Dean of BCH 

Student Responsibility

  • adhere to the requirements outlined by their program of study
  • maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 for the first term in order to qualify funding for the second term
  • comply with all University regulations, rules, and codes of conduct governing students on campus
  • consent to release grades to the University Development and Alumni Engagement Division for reporting to donors
  • remain in good standing as a student with the University
