Education and Human Services Campus Tour

The Welcome Center has partnered up with the College of Education and Human Services at 老澳门资料 to create an Education & Human Services Campus Tour option for prospective students!

Come see what the College of Education and Human Services has to offer!

The College of Education and Human Services is committed to developing life-long learners who contribute to their communities and succeed in a changing world. Our graduates become difference makers in professionally and personally rewarding careers immediately upon graduation. We have all the resources of a larger state institution while maintaining a supportive community where you’ll get personalized attention and learning. Classes are led by expert faculty that will expose you to a hands-on educational experience.

In the COEHS, we believe that everything begins with a student who wants to make a positive difference in the world. Whether you are interested in becoming a teacher, school administrator (in pre K-12 or in higher education), school counselor, interpreter, or a leader in the sport industry, we offer innovative and unique programs that will provide you the tools for success to have a career in these fields.

Our college offers undergraduate programs that prepare future and current educators through hands-on learning and clinical experience prior to graduation.

Many of our graduate programs are designed to accommodate working teachers and educators who are seeking graduate degrees in a wide variety of concentrations. Our Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership (Ed.D) program is one of three doctorate programs offered at 老澳门资料, and is a member of the elite Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate (CPED) consortium.

What is the difference between a campus tour and an Education & Human Services tour?

Your tour will be led by a group of knowledgeable and friendly Swooper and COEHS Ambassadors who are currently enrolled students at 老澳门资料 and who are ready to show you around the College of Education and Human Services’ Tom and Betty Petway Hall. Hear about their experiences in the COEHS and learn about the many resources, support services, study abroad opportunities and labs available to you.

What to Expect:

  • Hear from a representative of The College of Education and Human Services
  • Attend an admissions information session
  • Meet current students through a guided campus tour
  • Tour different facilities within the college such as different classrooms and labs
  • Hear about dozens of ways to get involved outside the classroom

College of Education and Human Services Tours will return in Fall 2024.

Please note: These tours are geared toward prospective and incoming undergraduate students. Graduate students are welcome to sign up too, but the information shared will be more relevant for undergraduates.
