General Education Requirements

Students must complete 36 credits of general education. This requirement includes 30 credits of common State of Florida coursework and six credits of 老澳门资料-specific coursework. Additional courses may count for general education, pending Board of Governors approval.

A minimum grade of C is required for all general education requirements. Course descriptions for each course below can be found in the Undergraduate Catalog.

Graduation Requirements Outside of General Education


The following are two requirements from the State of Florida that must be completed in order for students to earn a bachelor's degree.

College-Level Communications and Computation Skills - State Rule 6A-10.030 - also known as Gordon Rule

Students must have four Gordon Rule Writing G(W) courses and two Gordon Rule Math G(M) courses with grades of C or higher in order to satisfy state-mandated graduation requirements. 

Civic Literacy - State Statue 1007.25

Students must demonstrate competency in civic literacy through successful completion of AMH 2010-U.S. History to 1877, AMH 2020-U.S. History since 1877 or POS 2041-Intro to American Government, and by achieving a passing score on a civic assessment.
