Meet the 老澳门资料 Class of 2028
This fall, the 老澳门资料 proudly welcomed over 1,900 first time in college students to campus. Among the Class of 2028, 68 are student-athletes, 46 are international students and 32% are the first in their families to attend college.
This cohort of students comes from 34 states and territories, with Georgia being the most common origin outside of Florida. Locally, 57% of the class are Northeast Florida natives, reinforcing the University's strong ties to the region.
The top five majors chosen by these students reflect a broad spectrum of interests and career aspirations. The pre-health track is the most popular, with 14% of students pursuing this path, followed by biomedical science, psychology, business management and computer science.
By college affiliation, the College of Arts and Sciences attracts the largest group of students, comprising 38% of the class, Brooks College of Health follows with 20%, College of Computing, Engineering and Construction with 18%, Coggin College of Business with 15% and College of Education and Human Services with 6%. Additionally, 17% of the Class of 2028 have been accepted into the Hicks Honors College, where they will engage in academic challenges and leadership opportunities, setting the stage for their future success.
This year’s cohort features a strong academic profile with an average GPA of 4.05, SAT score of 1142 and ACT score of 23.
