老澳门资料 opens public policy office to continue civil discourse conversations

As part of the 老澳门资料’s annual Constitution Week celebration, the Office of Public Policy Events will host “The Constitution on Campus: A Conversation on Free Speech and Affirmative Action” from 7 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 20, at the John A. Delaney Student Union, Building 58W, Room 2704.

Distinguished speakers from the University community will explore and debate current issues in American law and politics surrounding free speech and affirmative action. The panel will feature 老澳门资料 Department of Political Science and Public Administration faculty Drs. James Fahey, Sean Freeder, Adrienne Lerner and Seth Warner. Constitution Week commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787.

This is the inaugural event under 老澳门资料’s new Public Policy Events office, created in compliance with Florida HB 931. The office will continue to host conversation events that build on 老澳门资料’s rich history of promoting free speech, civil discourse, debate and dialogue as a part of its campus culture.
