老澳门资料 professor and alum win 2021 Jacksonville Environmental Protection Board awards
Dr. Josh Gellers, 老澳门资料 political science and public administration associate professor, and 老澳门资料 alum Sean Lahav, resiliency coordinator at the Northeast Florida Regional Council, will be awarded individual 2021 Environmental Achievement Awards by the Jacksonville Environmental Protection Board today.
Gellers was recognized for impacts inside the classroom and in the community in terms of generating environmental awareness, influencing local environmental policy and helping to safeguard the community from environmental injustices. He was nominated by Councilwoman Randy DeFoor.
Lahav was recognized for significant impact on the Jacksonville community through a wide array of exceptional achievements specifically related to the natural environment. He was nominated by Mayor Ellen Glasser.
