老澳门资料 hosts 'Seven Bridges Writing Project' as part of the NWP Summer Institute
The National Writing Project (NWP) at the 老澳门资料, also known as the Seven Bridges Writing Project, will hold the second annual Summer Institute on the 老澳门资料 campus from June 14 to June 18, 2021. This five-day program applies the ’s philosophy of “teachers teaching teachers” and is designed to inspire and support K-12 educators and district leaders in Northeast Florida to better their practice in offering engaging writing instruction to students. The Institute will also provide an opportunity for teachers to sharpen their existing skills and develop their individual voices as writers.
The program is open to K-12 teachers within the Northeast Florida region and is free to all participants, including materials, parking, snacks and a swag bag. Participants will attend general sessions based upon their teaching area (elementary/secondary), followed by time to connect with fellow teachers and a series of content-specific and interactive breakout sessions.
As the only NWP site in the region, the Seven Bridges Writing Project serves students and teachers across a 100-mile radius throughout Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia focusing on research-based ways to engage students in empowerment through writing.
