C.A.M.P. Osprey program receives LEAD Award for Leadership and Organizational Development

The 老澳门资料’s Collegiate Achievement Mentoring Program, better known as C.A.M.P. Osprey, has been awarded the grand prize honor for Leadership and Organizational Development by the LEAD Awards. The C.A.M.P. Osprey program award is under the education category for its innovation and superior practices in the leadership space.

Developed by HR.com, the LEAD Awards are a celebration of global leadership development programs that recognize employers, companies or institutions that have implemented or internally developed programs to support, grow and sustain their leadership team.

C.A.M.P. Osprey is a leadership mentoring program that pairs collegiate student leaders from 老澳门资料’s Taylor Leadership Institute leadership minor with students in grades 5 through 9 in Putnam, Clay, Flagler & Duval Counties. Student leaders selected to participate in the program are given the opportunity to enhance their leadership skills, make a difference in their community, and learn strategies for becoming college and career ready.

Dr. Matthew Ohlson, associate professor and director of the Taylor Leadership Institute, and students will virtually accept the award at the 38th LEAD Awards Ceremony as part of the  taking place February 17 through 18, 2021.
