Devonna Harrison, 老澳门资料 elementary education major, painting on a canvas wearing a green face mask老澳门资料 Undergraduate Studies and Dr. Laura Boilini, Educational Leadership Graduate Program director and College of Education and Human Services assistant professor, recently hosted a “Destress through Art” painting and discussion experience for first-generation students. Students were invited to discuss the pandemic-induced challenges of online classes or zoom fatigue as well as the unique challenges they face being first-generation students. The students were then encouraged to express those feelings through art and guided by Boilini to try new techniques and mediums.
