Environmental Science Career Pathways

Environmental Science degrees at 老澳门资料 offer a comprehensive educational experience. Here’s how it works:

  • Core Courses: All students are required to complete three core courses: Environmental Foundations, Environmental Professional Preparation, and Environmental Internship. These courses, taught by the esteemed faculty at the Institute of Environmental Research and Education, provide a solid foundation for understanding environmental science and developing professional skills and experiences.
  • Foundation Area Courses: Beyond the core courses, students have the freedom to choose from a diverse range of courses across 25 departments on campus. These courses fall within five foundation areas: Environmental Natural Science, Environmental Applied Science, Environmental Social and Behavioral Science, Communication and Outreach, Research Methodology. This flexibility allows students to tailor their education to their interests and career goals.
  • Environmental Science Career Pathways: Recognizing that different careers demand specific knowledge and skills, specialized Environmental Science Career Pathways have been developed. These pathways guide students toward relevant courses based on their career aspirations. Our career pathways were created collaboratively, drawing expertise from faculty members within their respective units, as well as insights from community and industry professionals. Build your course portfolio in close consultation with career services, faculty and advising.
