Multimedia Club schedules first meeting
The Multimedia Club has scheduled its first meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, in the computer lab, Building 14D, room 1008. Club members will review paperwork for field trips with the 老澳门资料 Ultimate Frisbee and Equestrian teams. Members also will learn how to use cameras. For more information, email Michaela Broxton at N01476359@unf.edu.
PRSSA needs leadership
Are you interested in taking the next step and becoming a leader? The 老澳门资料 Public Relations Student Society of America club is seeking new leadership to replace students who have graduated.
Leadership doesn't require a lot of time, but it does mean a commitment to the club and the duties. There are a variety of positions (president, vice president, treasurer, programs, social media). A leadership position will enhance your abilities, give you valuable experience, and allow you to make valuable contacts with public relations professionals.
If you’re interested in becoming more active in PRSSA, please contact professor Bobbi Doggett, faculty advisor, at rdoggett@unf.edu.
Mentorship opportunities for grads, undergrads
Most students can benefit by having a mentor. The School of Communication's mentorship program allows you to find a mentor who is a successful local professional in advertising, journalism, public relations, production, or communication management. They can give you valuable advice about what it takes to get ahead in your career. The mentorship website has more information about who our mentors are and how to get in touch with the mentor of your choice. They are all eager to hear from you: .
