Page Types

There are different page types available to you when creating your webpage in Cascade.

Advanced

The advanced layout lets you customize your layout by creating tiers. It is often used to create dynamic homepages and special events pages.

Basic

This is a great layout for second and third tier pages. It simply uses a basic text box.

FAQ

FAQ pages are similar to basic and tabs pages in the way you initially create one. It can be a stand alone page or a tier on the advanced page.

Tabs

Tabs pages are standalone pages. There are two options for tab layout: horizontal or vertical. Horizontal runs the tabs along the top and vertical runs the tabs on the left side.

Tab pages can be used to condense multiple related pages into one webpage.

Contact

Contact pages are standalone pages. There are three different Directory Types: Cards, Profile and Tables. Cards feature an image and contact information with the option to add a biography either in-page or linked. Profile offers an image, name and link. Tables will create a table with name, position, email and phone.

Article

Article pages are a different type of page with a structured layout format.

Setup

Teaser Section:  This section is what feeds into the Article Landing Page. 

  • Thumbnail Image: Should have an image that is 450px by 300px
  • Summary: One to two sentences that sum up the article.
  • Button Text: Text you want to use on the button that links to the article.

Article Section

  • Publication Date: Pick from the calendar icon and time of publication
  • Article: Works the same as a Basic Text Tier. Images can be added into this section.

Social Sharing Section: Click the box beside the social media icons to display on the page. This allows a user to click and share the article on a social media platform.
