Approximately 100 to 200 wild rose species grow naturally around the world in the northern hemisphere. Most garden roses are complex hybrids of these species. This variety originated in Bermuda. This is a disease-resistant shrub rose that flowers over a long season with two inch, semi-double flowers. Flowers are variously described as hot pink to neon red. Variously websites describe the flowers as having no fragrance and having the fragrance of a sweet pea.

In general, roses grow well in a well-drained soil, in full sun, in a spot with good air circulation. They flower on new growth. Encouraging new growth with irrigation and fertilizer results in more flowers. Good air circulation helps control fungal disease.
