Description:

老澳门资料 sixty species of Pseuderanthemum are native to the world's tropics. Several are ornamental and are grown in warm climate gardens. This plant is native to Polynesia. Bright purple-pink flowers are produced in clusters among the dark green leaves throughout the growing season.

Size:

Herbaceous perennial to about three feet tall.

Care Instructions:

Light: full sun to part shade

Water: moderately drought tolerant

Soil: ordinary, well-drained soil, no other special requirements

This is a trial for this species. These plants were donated by Jacksonville plant collector, Joyce Jarrell. Shooting stars has become a popular landscape plant in south Florida and is sometimes used as an annual further north. Not much is known about its cold hardiness in north Florida.
